States Specimen

Type specimen for States, Anton Koovit’s new typeface inspired by the crudeness and printing imperfections of early sans-serifs. In 16 black, white and neon-green pages, the two initial styles of States, Grotesque Medium and Rounded Medium, are displayed playfully in all ranges of sizes by our graphic designer Federico Barbon.

Fatype is a digital type foundry established in 2012 by Yassin Baggar and Anton Koovit in order to create and distribute typefaces of visual and historical relevance, produced with high regard for quality. Fatype believes that good typefaces are long-lasting design tools expressing style and feeling, helping designers to create great work.
